“YouTube has become a big part of the late night television experience, and we are delighted to celebrate their 10 year anniversary this way,” the show’s executive producer Ben Winston said.
“The show will be packed full of surprises, games and music – all with a YouTube twist”.
Smart moves guys and here’s why.
Tyler Oakley is not only one of the most influential vloggers with over 7 million subscribers on his channel, he was named one of Time magazine’s 30 Most Influential People on the Internet and included in The Hollywood Reporter’s list of Top 25 Digital Stars.
And of course just your casual 4.49m Twitter followers and 4.8m Instagram followers.
Standard.
Jenna Marbles has one of the largest YouTube channels with over 15 million subscribers, and is currently the top channel of someone not part of a network - just Jenna.
The decision follows the #Tommyshouse episode of The Late Late Show, where the show was filmed entirely inside a stranger's house.
The stranger being Tommy.
