Electric Picnic to see the return of The Vengaboys and 'Maniac 2000'

This is not a drill - Electric Picnic is getting a 90s makeover.

Both The Vengaboys and Mark McCabe have announced that they will be playing at this year’s September festival.

Earlier this year Mark celebrated the 15th Anniversary of Maniac 2000’s release, which witnessed it re-enter the Irish song chart for the second time.

Oggie, oggie, oggie - OI OI OI!

To mark the occasion the radio DJ has announced that will be perform the 90s anthem live for the first time in a decade.

NOT ONLY THAT!

90s band The Vengaboys have also announced that they will take to the stage on the Sunday night of the famous festival.

The Electric Ireland stage has become famous for its notable acts - last year it was 80s fever with Bonnie Tyler and Mr Motivator.

Here's hoping they won't be faced with another power cut, as those 90s shapes can be dangerous at times.
