Ed Sheeran organiser warns of fake concert tickets
People heading to Ed Sheeran at Croke Park this weekend are being warned to look out for bogus tickets.
Some 160,000 people are expected to descend on GAA Headquarters in Dublin this weekend to see the Lego House singer perform.
Tickets for the gig sold out in minutes when they went on sale in February.
Jim Clarke, event controller with Aiken Promotions, warned that tickets being offered by people for the weekend could be fake.
"It's important, I think, to draw people's attention to the fact that this is a sell-out [event]," he said.
"So if there's tickets being offered, the chances are they are going to be bogus tickets.
"Ticketmaster is the only official ticket sales outlet and I would ask people, if offered tickets, to make sure that they are legitimate and to check with Ticketmaster."
