Moss had airplane meltdown over lack of sandwiches

The supermodel was flying back from Bodrum, Turkey when the incident took place.

Supermodel Kate Moss was escorted from a flight by police on Sunday after reports that she was being “disruptive”.

Today, the reason behind the outburst has been revealed - the budget airline ran out of sandwiches.

The supermodel was flying back from Bodrum, Turkey - where she had been celebrating the 50th birthday of actress friend Sadie Frost - when the incident took place.

Firstly it was reported that the friends couldn’t sit together, which didn’t go down too well.

But things allegedly came to blows when the 41-year-old wanted a sandwich and was told they had ran out.

“She was sitting at the back with her friend and they were kicking off because the plane had run out of the sandwiches she wanted,” a witness told The Sun.

“The flight attendants were taking a break at the back and eating their food when Kate shouted ‘It’s f***ing all right for them to eat pasta when we’re hungry.”

She then called one of the flight attendants a “basic b*tch” as police escorted her from the EZY2232 flight.
