McKellen offered 'very heavy fee' to turn up to wedding as Gandalf

Ian McKellen was offered a "fortune" to attend someone's wedding dressed as Gandalf.

The 76-year-old actor has revealed people are such big fans of his role as Gandalf the wizard in the 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Hobbit' films that one man even offered to pay him a "very heavy fee" to go to his wedding in costume.
