McCartney shells out $15.5m for New York penthouse

Paul McCartney has splashed out on a $15.5m penthouse on New York's Fifth Avenue.

The 72-year-old music icon is reported to have bought the property - described as a "1960's time capsule" - at 1045 Fifth Avenue with his wife Nancy Shevell, who he wed in 2011.
