Walsh set for X Factor exit

It looks as though Louis Walsh won't be returning to the X Factor after 11 years as a judge on the show.

The Sun on Sunday and The Mirror are among some of today's papers claiming he's been sacked by Simon Cowell- who wants to 'freshen up' the TV talent series.

The source said that viewers had become "sick" of the judge, revealing: "Viewers had become sick of Louis' constant use of tired cliches and the same old jokes. He'd been doing it for 11 years and it seemed like he was just going through the motions."

Presenters Olly Murs and Caroline Flack have already been announced as replacements for host Dermot O'Leary.
