Marcus Butler lands in Dublin

You might have heard a few hundred screaming girls hovering around Dublin yesterday, or maybe your Twitter news feed was inundated with tweets about a certain Marcus Butler?

Doesn't ring a bell? Well, Youtube star Marcus Butler arrived in Ireland yesterday and caused a pretty large stir within the Irish teen scene.

Marcus has over 4m subscribers on YouTube over his two channels, Marcus Bulter and moremarcus, he also boosts over 2m followers on Twitter - which is more than Madonna.

Marcus creates tag videos, music mixes, gaming content and vlogs on his channel, though you might also recognize him from his collabrations with YouTubers such as Zoella, Alfie Deyes, Tanya Burr and Jim Chapham.

Marcus is an ambassador for Anti-Bullying and was in Ireland to launch and raise awareness for Facebook's Stay Safe campaign.

You may have also spotted him on Ireland AM.

Nadine Coyle and Jedward also attended to show their support for the campaign, but don’t worry Marcus vlogged the whole day for everyone to see - he even came across some green post boxes, which he found hilarious.
