Hometown to support The Vamps in Cork

With sell out shows in Dublin and Belfast this week, The Vamps will be back in Ireland this summer to play Cork Live at the Marquee on June 18.

Today, Irish boyband HomeTown were announced as special guests for this Cork date.

The band, managed by Louis Walsh, have already been making waves in Ireland. Their debut single Where I Belong became the fastest-selling single from a debut artist and the quickest -selling single from an Irish artist in 2014.

The single, penned by Irish chart toppers Kodaline, managed to beat Ed Sheeran and One Direction to the number one spot, a feat that is a source of great pride for the group.

The boy’s second single Cry For Help was released on March 27 and went straight to No 1 in the singles charts.

The date will also feature American group The Tide, who are the first signing to The Vamps very own record label with EMI Universal.

The band are currently on tour with The Vamps on their arena tour.
