WATCH: Ed Sheeran surprises superfan by singing to her in hospital

Ed Sheeran does it again - this time in New Zealand.

The 24-year-old singer is moving his way around the world and is currently on tour in New Zealand, so of course he’s bound to surprise a fan or two - #standardEd

This time it was birthday girl Jess Wright.

Last year superfan Jess was diagnosed with cancer just days after she had purchased tickets to Ed’s Auckland gig for her 20th birthday, so as the gig approach her friends started a social media campaign to get the singer to visit her in hospital instead.

And being the ‘nicest guy in showbiz’ Ed gladly took a half an hour out of his busy schedule to sit and chat with her and her friends in her hospital room.
