Corrie bosses to keep Anne Kirkbride's name on door

Coronation Street bosses will pay tribute to the late Anne Kirkbride by keeping her name plate on her dressing room door.

The actress - who passed away from breast cancer, aged 60, in January - will be immortalised in the ITV studios, despite the room now being occupied by her close friend Beverley Callard, who plays Liz McDonald in the soap.
