Dublin hunk Aidan Turner sends Twitter into meltdown

Dublin actor Aidan Turner looks set to become Ireland's latest heartthrob judging by the reaction to his starring role in a reboot of the BBC costume romp Poldark.

Shots of Turner strutting around topless in the lavish remake of the late 70s drama had caused a flurry last week and by the time the show went out last night on BBC1, the internet was in a collective swoon, with Turner's name trending on Twitter in the UK.
