Chic & Nile Rodgers announce Irish gigs

The legendary band will take to the Live At the Marquee stage in Cork and the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin.

Chic & Nile Rodgers will take to the stage at the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin on Thursday July 9 and Live At The Marquee in Cork on Friday, July 10.

The band are considered one of the greatest live bands and CHIC’s sound is undoubtedly defined by the rhythm guitar and musicianship of Nile Rodgers - resulting in some of the biggest dance singles of all time.

Nile also worked on such projects as David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’, Madonna’s ‘Like A Virgin’, Diana Ross’s ‘Diana’, and Sister Sledge’s ‘We Are Family’.

Even to this day he is still releasing mega hits such as Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’.

Tickets are priced at €51.15 and go on sale Thursday, March 12 at 9am from usual outlets.
