Laura Whitmore has revealed she is leaving MTV after seven years.
The Bray born presenter begin her career on the TV channel since she won a talent search in 2008.
The DCU journalism graduate was picked from thousands of hopefuls as the ultimate winner of 'Pick Me MTV' to become the face of MTV News.
Stints presenting 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here Now' and the BBC Eurovision coverage signalled a huge elevation to her career. She will even be presenting this year's BRIT Awards pre and post shows.
Laura took to her Instagram today to share the news that she will be leaving MTV next week.
“It was my very first telly job and I can’t thank MTV enough for taking the chance on me. However due to some upcoming projects I can no longer commit,” she explained.
The 29-year-old then teased that she has several projects in the pipeline, but she will continue to front some of the 'MTV Asks' segments.
