Spider-Man to appear in Marvel films following Sony deal

Sony Pictures and Marvel have signed a deal that will see Spider-Man appear in an as-yet-unspecified Marvel film.

However, Sony Pictures will not be giving up the film rights to the character and still intends to release the next instalment of its own franchise, following Spider-Man's Marvel debut.
