Belfast short gets Oscar nod

Belfast short film 'Boogaloo and Graham', directed by Michael Lennox and produced by Brian J Falconer of Out of Orbit Productions, has been nominated in the category of Best Live Action Short at the 87th Academy Awards.
Filmed entirely on location in the North, the film is set in 1970s Belfast and follows two young boys (Martin Mc Cann and Charlene McKenna) who discover the facts of life, aided by the help of their pet chickens.
"The news today that our film Boogaloo and Graham, which we made over 4 days in Belfast in April 2014 is Oscar nominated is hard to believe,” producer, Brian Falconer has said reacting to the nomination.
