US presidential candidate Huckabee blasts Obamas for letting girls listen to Beyonce

Possible US presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has accused Barack Obama and his wife Michelle of double standards in parenting, saying America’s first family shelters its daughters from some things, yet allows them to listen to racy singer Beyonce.

The sharp rhetoric from the outspoken former Arkansas governor signals that should he run for the Republican presidential nomination, Mr Huckabee, 59, a darling of conservative Christians, would make cultural and social issues the cornerstones of his campaign.
