Dermot O'Leary in Xtra Factor topless fail

XFactor host Dermot O’Leary found himself in the middle of the most awkward moment in Xtra Factor history last night.

Dermot was taking part in Q and A session via Skype on Sarah-Jane Crawford’s spinoff show when he got a little more than he signed up for.

During the Skype call, Dermot was asked by fan Lara “to name his favourite X Factor acts from over the years” but as O’Leary was answering the question Lara’s housemate strolled into the call topless.

Although the woman covered her bare chest just in time the Xtra Factor cameras cut back to the studio.

Dermot with his best ‘cheeky chappy’ smile handled the moment with pure professionalism.

“You’ll have to forgive me, you sort of broke up there. Can we go back to Lara?” he exclaimed.

“Can we do this every week?”

And Lara’s housemate wasn’t the only one topless on the hit TV show, as fans questioned Mel B’s choice of top on last night main show.
