Twink out and Keith Duffy in for this year’s Limerick Panto
Just days after it was revealed that Twink had been fired from Limerick’s Christmas panto Jack and the Beanstalk, her replacement has been announced.
Limerick native Myles Breen will now take over Twink's role as the panto Dame.

“Oh no he’s not” … “Oh yes he is!”
Twink received the news via a phone call from the panto's producer, Robert C Kelly, last week which ended her three year association with the Limerick panto.
"To say I am stunned, bewildered and heartbroken doesn't even go there. I have entertained the people of Limerick and its environs since I was a small child, and it's a county I dearly love,” Twink said, speaking to the Sunday Independent.
"A break-up in any long-term relationship is deeply hurtful and that is exactly how I feel now."
Twink's dog Teddy, who was stolen earlier in the year before being reunited with his doting owner, was also due to have a starring role in the panto.

The organisers have now also announced the addition of Keith Duffy to the cast in the role of Baddie.
All together now! … “Booooooooooooo!”

This is former Boyzone star’s first panto appearance but we are sure he’ll be a natural.
“I’m very excited to be heading to University Concert Hall for Jack & The Beanstalk. This will be my first time in Panto at home in Ireland and I’ve heard great things about this one in Limerick so I look forward to getting into the rehearsal room and getting started. It’s an added bonus to be playing the Baddie – I can have great fun with that!” Keith said.
