Pay rise on the cards for Cheryl

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been offered a new 'X Factor' contract worth at least £2m (€2.4m).

The former 'Girls Aloud' star - who's returned to the judging panel this year alongside Mel B, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh - is understood to have been paid £1.4m (41.8m) for the current series of the show, but she is being offered a pay rise to secure her services for the next series.
