X Factor's Jake Quickenden has reportedly signed up for 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!'

The 26-year-old singer - who was voted off the ITV talent show last month - is said to have been signed up to provide "male eye candy" for the thousands of female viewers set to tune in when the reality series kicks off later this month.

And we are not saying no.

"Jake was a big hit on 'The X Factor' and not just because of his voice. He's going to be the male eye candy in the jungle and a potential love interest for some of the female stars,” a source revealed.

"ITV usually refrains from signing up reality stars unless they're household names. But they've made a special exception for Jake."

Jake, who was taken through to the live shows in Mel B's boys category after failing to get past the judge's houses with Nicole Scherzinger in 2012, has enjoyed work as a presenter on Chart Show TV but is said to be keen to promote himself in the jungle.

"Jake is hoping to get at least a modelling deal out of it," the source told The Sun newspaper.

We don’t know about you but we think Jake attempting any bush tucker trial has TV gold written all over it.

And that’s the only reason … we swear!
