Downey Jr welcomes baby girl with Facebook post

Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr has welcomed a second child with his wife Susan, a baby girl named Avri.

He's posted an update on his Facebook page joking - "After 9 months of intensive development, Team Downey is pleased to announce our 2014 fall/winter project".

He said Avri "is accompanied by a variety of Susan's traits that have seemingly overwritten my 'junk DNA'."

The actor adds his daughter was born early on Tuesday and that he'll post some pictures when he's "not too busy staring".
