Lady Gaga helps fan propose on stage

Lady Gaga helped her friend Jay Lomax propose to his boyfriend Sean Martins on stage Tuesday night during the Manchester leg of her artRave tour.

The singer pulled the couple up on stage, introducing them to her fans and then took a noticeable step back as Jay got down on one knee to ask for his love’s hand in marriage.

And of course he said “Yes!!”

We are not sure who was more excited — the couple or Gaga.

She rushed over to them to give them a huge hug and then serenaded them with her hit 'Born This Way'.

Before she broke out into song, she took the time to address the crowd.

“My record label, a long time ago, they told me that my show is ‘too gay’ and I was ‘too gay’ or this was ‘too gay,’” she said.

“I told them, ‘Well it’s a great thing that there are gay people all over the world!’ Real human beings with real dreams and real stories."

"You deserve to love and express your love the same as everybody around the world, I wish you a beautiful love and happy marriage,” she continued, addressing the happy couple.

After the song she showered the couple with more hugs before taking them backstage through a stage trap door.
