Hozier has debuted at number two in the US Billboard 200 chart with his self-titled debut album.
Within the first week the album sold a whopping 57,859 copies securing the second spot in the highest-charting new artist of 2014 in the US.
I'm very, very happy to announce the album went in at No.2 in the US Billboard charts. I cannot thank you enough for your support. THANK YOU

Country star Jason Aldean and his album Old Boots, New Dirt is the only thing that stands between Hozier and the US top spot.
The Bray singer also entered the Canadian Album Chart at number two, the Belgian Album Chart at number three and UK Album Chart at number five.
Not to mention securing Top 15 chart positions in Denmark, Holland and Germany.
And of course enjoying his third week at number one in the Irish album charts last week.
Hozier has also won the EBBA's (European Border Breakers Award) for Ireland in 2015. The EBBA are awarded to emerging European rock, pop and dance artists who achieved success outside their native countries.
