Perry leads MTV awards nominations

Katy Perry leads the nominations for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) with seven nods.

The 'Prism' singer is followed closely by Ariana Grande, who is up for six awards, with both stars contesting alongside Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and Beyonce for the Best Female prize.
