Director Boyle confirms continued interest in 'Trainspotting' sequel

Danny Boyle has confirmed he is continuing to work on a 'Trainspotting' sequel to explore what happened to the characters.

The director - who helmed the cult hit 1996 movie starring Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd and Robert Carlyle - has offered an update on the film's proposed sequel, revealing that he is keen to pick up on the characters' stories after the original.
