'Anchorman' fan Streep asks Carell for walk-on part

Meryl Streep wants a cameo in 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues'.

The Oscar-winning actress is hoping to make an appearance in the sequel to Will Ferrell's side-splitting 2004 comedy about hapless news reader Ron Burgundy, and has approached returning cast member Steve Carell about getting her a role.
