Flowers: I'm more 'rock 'n' roll' than anyone

Brandon Flowers believes he is the most "rock 'n' roll" person anyone could meet.

The Killers frontman – who is a devout Mormon, father-of-three who gave up alcohol and cigarettes five years ago and doesn’t take drugs – thinks the way he lives his life exactly as he wants adheres to the principles of rock and roll.

He said: "I want to be myself. I live my life how I want to. Isn't that the idea of what rock 'n' roll is? I am more rock 'n' roll than just about anybody else that you're going to meet."

Despite his own sober stance, Brandon insists he doesn't get upset if the rest of the band enjoy alcoholic drinks around him.

He said: "No [I'm not judgemental]. You've got to choose what you're going to do. That's one of the gifts that I believe we're given on this Earth. I'm not looking down on anybody for that."
