Beckham takes no notice of rivals

Victoria Beckham never "takes any notice" of what her rivals are doing.

According to the fashion designer's hairdresser Ken Paves, the brunette beauty - who has children Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 17-month-old daughter Harper with husband David Beckham - always tries to be "original" by attempting to come up with new ideas and fully trusts her own judgment.

He said: "She doesn't take any notice of what others are doing. She just tries out her ideas and goes for it. That makes her original and everyone should take something from that and learn."

Ken - who has been styling Victoria's tresses since 2007 - insists he knows exactly how to make the Spice Girls singer "feel good about herself" after spending so much time with her over the past five years, and he makes sure she always banishes any negative thoughts or insecurities.

He added: "We never focus on a negative or insecurities. I spend an unusual amount of time with my clients before I even touch them because I like to know them first. I got to know Victoria well before working with her, so I know how to make her feel good about herself. My job is to service people and take care of them."
