Two and a Half Men star attacks show, tells people not to watch it
The youngest star on American TV comedy 'Two and a Half Men' has attacked his own show - describing it as "filth" and urging everyone not to watch it.
Nineteen-year-old Angus T. Jones, who stars as Jake in the show, said in an interview with a Christian group that he no longer wants to be a part of the programme.
In an appeal broadcast on YouTube, he said: "If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching it…Please stop filling your head with filth."
He added: “You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that...I know I can’t. I’m not OK with what I’m learning, what the Bible says, and being on that television show."
Many of the show's jokes are laced with sexual innuendo and based on the sex lives of brothers Charlie and Alan.
Ashton Kutcher this year joined the show, after original star Charlie Sheen fell out with the makers.
