Hopkins relished 'utter paradox' of Hitchcock in new biopic

Anthony Hopkins had to "put together the pieces" of Alfred Hitchcock's contradictory nature in order to play him in a new biopic.

The Oscar-winning actor had to dig deep to play the iconic 'Psycho' filmmaker in Sacha Gervasi's new biopic 'Hitchcock', and after extensive research he discovered the character was an interesting mix of conflicting emotions.
