BBC boss ‘open’ to working with Cowell

The BBC's new Director-General George Entwistle has promised big changes with interactivity at the channel, with options to watch the likes of classic soaps to Glastonbury music festival and sporting events like the World Cup from various angles, giving viewers much more control.

He said: "Nothing works that way at the moment, yet it could theoretically be brought together."
