Holmes: 'Bigger things in life than my divorce'
Katie Holmes has said there are "bigger things" in life than her divorce.
The actress has broken her silence in an interview to WWD in the States and says her failed marriage to Tom Cruise just isn't important.
The former Dawson's Creek star added that she feels uncomfortable discussing her life when so many people are less fortunate than her.
"There are a lot of people with much bigger problems and who are less fortunate," she said. "I try to keep it all in perspective."
The 33-year old also spoke about rumours suggesting that her six-year old daughter Suri will attend a $40,000-a-year school in New York following her split from Tom. She said people would "find out in due time."
Earlier this week, Katie made her first public appearance since splitting with Cruise at the ninth Annual Style Awards, where she presented designer Carolina Herrera with her award.
