Bestival begins on Isle of Wight

The last and one of the quirkiest major UK music festivals gets into full swing today as 50,000 revellers enjoy headline shows by Stevie Wonder, Florence and the Machine and New Order.

The Bestival music event on the Isle of Wight is made up of more than 20 stages with the line-up including sets by The xx, Friendly Fires, Two Door Cinema Club, Emeli Sande, Bat for Lashes, Orbital, Miike Snow and Azealia Banks.
