There are some who pronounce scone as if it rhymes with cone and there are those who pronounce scone as if it rhymes with gone.
This divide is clearly something that bothers people quite a bit because we now have actual, real data on who pronounces it which way.

From this chart it would appear that scone, that rhymes with cone, is a minority and scone that rhymes with gone is the majority across Ireland and the UK.
Or to look at it another way, the south and west of Ireland is dominated by people who pronounce scone that rhymes with gone.
