You can now design your own Christmas jumper on the Ugly Christmas Sweater website.
This isn’t anything new as Christmas enthusiasts have been whipping out the glitter and glue to make their own since the dawn of Christmas jumpers. Some people may even still have a knitted one from their granny.
However, the American Ugly Christmas Sweater website has recently launched a new feature which allows customers to pick the design and colour of their jumper - with the option to upload your own image to adorn the front of your monstrosity. Fun.
They say that they will knit the jumper within ten business days before shipping. International delivery takes up to 12 business days, so if you order it now you’ll have it in time before Christmas (what about the Christmas party though?).
It costs $99.99 for the customised jumper plus postage and packaging. The grand total will set you back around €100. Hefty, but possibly worth it if you’re willing to wait and have an image that you really NEED to have on your jumper.

Another option is Deadly Christmas Jumpers. Based in Dublin, their options are much more affordable with prices starting at €29.95, with postage costs at about €6.

Funky Christmas Jumpers have a wide range of options starting at €39.99 with postage costs coming to €5. They also boast a large number of celebrity fans including Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Tony Hawk, Rory McIlroy and Scott Disick (if you’re into that kind of thing).

The Costume Shop also provides a selection of Christmas jumpers (they’re not just a Halloween shop you know), starting at €19.99. Postage comes to around €5.
Etsy is must for those looking for a unique, handmade item. Christmas jumpers from Irish sellers can be found here. However, take care if you choose to buy from sellers outside Ireland, you may be charged custom tax when the item arrives.
