A date has been set for the switching on of Dublin's Christmas lights

The days are getting colder, the evenings are getting darker and television listings are upping their game - let’s face it, it’s practically Christmas.

A date has been set for the switching on of Dublin's Christmas lights

To celebrate that fact, the Grafton Street Christmas light will be switched on on November 13.

The lights will stretch over 4.5 kilometres and it will take over 200 hours for the lights to be installed throughout the city.
