Gallery: All smiles and plenty of glamour as UCC Spring Conferrals continue

The sun may have disappeared but it was till all smiles for the second day of the UCC  Spring Conferrals.

949 students will receive their scrolls before the celebrations end tomorrow.

Day 2 

The second day of conferring ceremonies kicked off at University College Cork with conferrings taking place today for the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science and the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences.

Guest speakers were Tim Vaughan, Editor of the Irish Examiner and Dr Eucharia Meehan, Director of the Irish Research Council.

Day 1

The first of the ceremonies kicked off  with conferrings for the College of Business & Law and the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science.

Guest speakers  were Liam Sheedy, Head of Sales & Revenue at Bank of Ireland and former Tipperary hurler; Síle Lane, Director of Campaigns, Sense About Science; and Sean Moran, Vice President of Operations & Plant Manager, Sanmina.
