Teresa Mannion revisits scene of that report for a wonderful cause

RTÉ News reporter Teresa Mannion has become a little bit of an internet darling since her Read More: report for the station from Galway during Storm Desmond.

Well it seems she has decided to use her new found fame for good if her latest online offering is anything to go by.

Teresa returned to a less stormy, but still choppy Salthill promenade to help promote the annual COPE Galway Christmas Day Swim.

According to Teresa it will be an "incredibly" special event and this time she’s now actually encouraging people to swim off the Galway coast.
