This internet is going absolutely mad for this young girl’s sass-filled retort to her (supposedly) no-good boyfriend.

Posted to Twitter by her older sister, Madi Nickens, the screengrabs of the text conversation have been retweeted almost 7,000 times.

It seems 'Joey' had been seen at the park with Natalie. The dog.

And obviously that was not on. Even if she did buy him that Starbucks drink (the universal sign of love?)

And then the scorned 11-year-old delivers this sick burn.

First of all, who knew pre-teen relationships were so melodramatic? And would it be possible for us to drop that elevator line into everyday conversation?

Of course, in traditional sisterly fashion, Madi's little sister is not impressed that she shared her conversation with the world. But she'll get over it in the same triumphant way she'll get over Joey.
