This is some seriously impressive stuff. Cork musician John Ryan makes some great music with several instruments played just on his own - with the help of electronic loops.

The style of layering tracks one upon the other is a popular recent trend among solo instrumentalists. It's also widely used by YouTube a cappellasingers to turn one vocalist into an entire band.
