WATCH: TV presenter has awful maths fail live on air

A Serbian TV presenter had a nightmare live on air as she tried to solve a simple algebra equation.

The presenter asked the question: '5 + X = 8' and she was trying to demonstrate how she would find out what 'X' was.

Instead of taking five from eight to get the correct answer of three, the presenter somehow embarrassingly comes up with X = 5.

Even the cameraman has sympathy for her at the end and slowly pans away from her mistake.

We think Rachel Riley's spot on Countdown is safe for now.
