Prankster decides to have a go at world diving championships, is booed and arrested

The World Diving Championships took place in London yesterday, where the elite gymnasts of the globe plunged from dizzying heights to win the judge’s favour.

Prankster decides to have a go at world diving championships, is booed and arrested

And then there was Dan, from YouTube channel Troll Nation, who did a runner past security for fame and (a complete lack of) glory. The video was uploaded today to the pranksters' channel today.

After jumping over the security barrier and legging it up the diving board staircase, he almost gets caught by security as he fails to take his trousers off fast enough.

But, in the end, he breaks free and plummets to the pool - where he is greeted by a chorus of boos from the crowd who are actually there to see world-class athletes.

And, to top it all off, he's led away by security - and rightly so. The Telegraph reports that Mr Jarvis was fined £90 under the public order act.

Oh, and he dropped his keys in the pool during his escapade, bringing the competition to a halt while someone went fishing for them.

Great Britain's Tom Daley won the gold in the 10m platform event and Roseline Filion took the women's in the same category, while Chinese athletes dominated the synchronised events.
