This mashup of Furious 7 and Cars is the best thing you will see today

What happens when you take on of the most successful movies of the year, and mash it up with one of the best Disney Pixar films ever made? A pretty amazing video that’s what.

Furious 7 hit the cinemas a couple of weeks back and has already take the box office by storm and the idea to mix this movie with Cars, one of Pixars most successful films, is something right out of left field.

Well that is exactly what IGN and, we think you'll agree, the result is brilliant!

The video takes clips from Cars and Cars 2 and runs the audio track of The Fast and The Furious 7 over it to create this piece of video genius.

Characters have also been matched off with almost sheer perfection with Vin Diesel's character Dom providing the voice for everyone's favourite pickup truck Mater, originally voiced by Larry the Cable Guy.

Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) has been given the new voice of the late Paul Walker, who passed away after a car crash while filming the latest Fast and Furious movie, whilst Jason Statham and his character Deckard Shaw have provided the track for Cars 2 star Finn McMissle (Michael Caine).

The video runs perfectly with the audio track from the Furous 7 trailer and it's pretty clear that we loved it!
