So, we think it’s fair to assume that if you clicked into this article that you have seen the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer.

If you have, and are a true fan of the franchise then you will have been filled with a whole range of emotions like joy, excitement, confusion, fear, the overwhelming urge to hug someone, and of course the need to scream at the sight of Han Solo and Chewbacca.

However, none of your reactions can compete with the emotional roller coaster Matthew McConaughey went on when watching the trailer for the first time.

The below video shows just how big of a Star Wars fan McConaughey really is but we warn you, when you see him cry, you might also feel the need.

Ok, so maybe it was just a mashup of McConaughey’s latest movie Interstellar, but you have to admit, it has been cut together exceptionally well by YouTuber Oskaranarson.

Either way, it does sum up what we here went through when watching the trailer for the first time.
