Cork pub proves the Cork accent is so much better with helium

For many of us, Paddy’s Day is a time to cut loose and act out a little. And Cork pub Sober Lane decided to "help" people remember their good time - by recording video clips of the occasion.

Take some friendly folks and some helium balloons (and maybe, possibly, a pint) and there'll be some gascraic altogether.

But it also just goes to show that a strong Cork accent is even better with the help of the noble gas He.

Mighty craic. And yes, there are French people in there. But it's especiallygood when you get them to read out phrases in a Cork accent. Yer one about 30 seconds in is pure daycint.

In fairness to the lads at Sober Lane, they're not half bad at this social media stuff. When they launched their new Dublin venue they got a bit of press by only accepting applications through Snapchat.

Good pizza, too. Try the black pudding and apple.
