Cork kids write and perform really catchy rap as Gaeilge

Some very talented fifth class pupils have written a brilliant rap for Seachtain na Gaeilge.

'Is Fearr Gaeilge Briste Ná Béarla Cliste', which translates to 'Broken Irish is better than clever English', was written and performed by the children at Scoil Íosagáin in Farranree.

They recorded the track at one of GMCBeats’ weekly rap workshops in the school.

Have a listen to the brilliant rap here:

GMCBeats have been running music workshops for schools and other groups. They have produced over 450 tracks over the past five years.
