To hug this guy or not? Luas commuters had to decide

Commuters getting off the Dublin’s Luas where in for a bit of a surprise after being faced with a strange blue man - looking for hugs - as they disembarked yesterday.

It was all for a good cause - Electric Ireland's Powering Kindness Week - as the guy, dressed in the full blue body suit tried to get as many hugs as he could from the travel weary commuters.

Of course, it was only a bit of fun and by our count he does manage about six voluntary hugs at the St Stephen's Green Luas stop. However, one guy didn't take too kindly to his attempts and proceeds to push him out of the way.
