This is the video that will play at the end of the world

But don't worry, if you plan to do so, then you can relax because 35 years ago, when Ted Turner founded the world's first 24-hour news channel he promised that they would broadcast until the apocalypse.
At the time, Turner said: "Barring satellite problems, we won't be signing off until the world ends."
The now-departed media mogul pledged that in the event of the world's demise, the channel would fade out with a rendition of "Nearer My God to Thee".
Now, a former CNN intern, Michael Ballaban, has uploaded a grainy, one-minute long film of a US army band performing the hymn on the Jalopnik website. And it's rather unimpressive really.
Ballaban said that the video, named Turner Doomsday Video, was marked in the CNN database as "HFR till the end of the world confirmed", HFR standing for "hold for release".
Ballaban writes: "It sounded mostly like a mythic joke, the kind of thing that Ted Turner, the all-around 'eccentric billionaire' archetype, would mention offhand. Bison ranches, the America's Cup, four girlfriends at once, the last word on the last day on earth - why not?"
So, here it is.
