Mascot steps in after couple are caught having a fight on the kisscam

The kiss cam must be one of the most mortifying inventions ever.

Mostly seen at American sports events, it zones in on what are hopefully an actual couple and not just two strangers sitting together and then forces their victims to bow to mob rule and kiss - whether they want to or not.

So it can be a bit f a minefield as evidenced by this incident at a Chicago Bulls game over the weekend.

When the kiss cam hones in on this couple, the girlfriend/partner/wife is less than impressed that her man friend isn't paying attention and a fight ensues - to the amusement of everyone watching.

Luckily Benny the Bull, the team mascot is on hand to diffuse the tension.

We're not entirely coninced this wasn't staged but let's just suspend disbelief on this one and all agree that the kiss cam is only detrimental to the emotional well-being of otherwise happy couples.
